An on-the-land, immersive, hands-on learning experience that equips the future rural workforce with basic ranch and rural skills.
Our vision is to provide attendees with an immersive, hands-on learning experience that equips them with basic ranch and rural skills before they enter more advanced training. This experience will set them up for success and prepare the future workforce of our rural communities.
Attendees from multiple programs will learn from local ranchers, land stewards, operators, mechanics and community members the basic skills for ranching and living in rural areas. These skills include everything from how to talk to ranchers, to first aid, grazing decisions, and vehicle operations and maintenance.
