    55 Main - Preservation & Reimagining

The 55 Main Building (Formerly Odd Fellows Hall, and one of Winnett’s oldest buildings) was moved to a new location and is undergoing remodeling to host a visitor’s center, local business and community housing. During remodeling, the building has hosted many events, including dinners, a Haunted House, Picasso on the Prairie art shows, and Jam Sessions.

    Sweet Peas Daycare

Winnett ACES became the fiscal sponsor for Sweet Peas Daycare, which opened its doors in spring of 2023.

  • Local Beef in the School program

The Beef in the School project was one of the first and fastest projects that the Winnett ACES set in motion. The idea was born in an ACES meeting and the group quickly teamed up with the Petroleum County Stockgrowers and Winnett Public Schools.

The Stockgrowers made calls to local cattle producers to ask for possible donation livestock for school lunches. And within just two weeks, the group had enough beef donations to feed the school kids for the next 3 years!

Other community members have supported the program by donating money, transporting animals to slaughter facilities and providing grain for finishing the cattle. The Winnett school cook and the School Board have also been very supportive of the program.
